How this website handles your information

Logarhythm Ltd runs this website from a workshop at 78-92 Stamford Road, Tottenham, N15 4PG. This page explains, in plain terms, what the site records and why. If anything here is unclear, email repairs@logarhythm.co.uk and we will answer.

If you send an enquiry

The enquiry form asks for your name, your email address and a description of the equipment. We use those solely to reply to you and to carry out any repair work that follows. They are stored on this site's own server and emailed to us so we can respond. We do not sell them, share them for marketing, or add you to any mailing list.

Visit statistics

We keep basic statistics so we can see which pages are useful and whether people can find us. This is our own system, running on this site's own hosting. It is not Google Analytics and no third party receives the data.

For each page view we record: the page address, the site that referred you (for example a search engine), roughly how long the page was open, how far down it was scrolled, whether the device is a phone, tablet or desktop, the screen size, the browser language, and which buttons were clicked.

What we deliberately do not do:

• No cookies. The site sets none, which is why there is no cookie banner.
• Your IP address is never stored. It is converted immediately into a short one-way code so repeat visits can be counted without identifying anyone. The code is built with a secret that changes every month, so it cannot be traced back to you or matched across months.
• No cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles, no data sold or shared with anyone.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: understanding, at an aggregate level, whether a small workshop's website is working. The information is not used to identify individuals.

Opting out

To exclude your own visits from these statistics, visit any page on this site once with ?notrack on the end of the address — for example logarhythm.co.uk/?notrack. Your browser will be ignored from then on.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Email repairs@logarhythm.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
